Behind the Scenes
The Trade-It Online Team... There are seven people actively working on the Trade-It Website…
Firstly we have the Account Managers, they role is to answer all questions regarding banner sales and other business related products on Trade-It. They also approach businesses who they think will benefit from the brand awareness that Trade-It offers. They then manage all the Bristol and surrounding business accounts and insure they get the maximum exposure and relevant placement for their company.
The team consists of:

· Craig Wallberg – Who if he were a cartoon character he would be? Popeye because he is apparently as strong as an ox when he has spinach??? He has blue eyes and his favourite vegetable is a carrot.

· Sue Rouse – If there, were to be a movie about her life Sue would want Catherine Tate to play her. She proudly passed her driving test first time. Her claim to fame was appearing on Real Rooms (a TV makeover show)
· Kayleigh Foster – If Kayleigh won the lottery she would buy ‘shoes – and a lot of them’. If she had the choice of meeting a famous person, dead or alive she would most like to meet Fern Cotton. If she were a cartoon character she would be the Cadburys chocolate bunny!

He has been living in Bristol for over 4 years and worked for Trade-It for 2.5 years. As well as helping promoting the Trade-It brand he also looks after distribution of the Trade-It paper. His favourite flavoured Ice cream is Vanilla with some chocolate crackin’ on top!
Next we have Paul Scrivens who is the Advertising Sales Manager he is in charge managing the various Sales Departments at Trade-It. He is the man that gets all the blame when the money isn't rolling in. The best word to describe Paul when he first wakes up in the morning is… 'Thirsty'. Paul obviously fancies himself as either Butch Cassidy or one hell of a pool player wanting Paul Newman to play him in the re-make of his life! He has Grey eyes and his favourite food is fillet steak. His nick names are Paulo or Scrivs.
Finally there’s me, Jodie! I have the hectic but most enjoyable job of keeping this site ticking over whilst improving its usability, orchestrating new developments ideas & raising awareness for the site,. My aim is to make Trade-It an essential part of the Bristol community. Home Life: I am 24 (going on 60). I moved from a bustling city to a small village. My ambition in life is to mimic ‘The Good Life’. I currently have 9 animals living in my small cottage. The newest member to the group is ‘Bob the duckling’.

A few changes to Trade-It...
This week I have been adding a few extras to the site. I have added 'User Tips' on all Category pages. This is displayed on bits of note paper. Every time you refresh your page you should see a new tip. This was designed to help you navigate through the site with ease.

Please post your regular site queries here. This will enable me to add them to the user tips and will help other Trade-It users.
